from one boxer to another NEW
by: Jack N Tip

Our mommy always makes sure to buy us medium size teddy bears to tear to pieces when Im restless, Im so happy when a new one comes in the door!!!! We go on lots of run/walks for our big energy problem. We actually have a box in the corner of the living room full of toys of all kinds to keep us busy.....
Just a couple ideas that I have done with all my boxers and these two is my second pair. Once they know whats theirs they will leave all other things alone. Boxers are naturally highly energetic so if you dont have time to play or rough house then honestly maybe she's not right for you..

Destruction
by: Laurel in Tucson

I had a problem with my first two with destroying things on the patio until they were about 2.. they are each almost 4. I now have a Deaf white one who just turned 2 last month. Somehow, I can't ever seeing him get out of the destructive stage. He is awful when it comes to that! I take them for an occasional walk, but they have a huge yard of their own with artificial turf that they run and play on together all day. For me, I think it's just my dog's personality. I know Boxers get very bored and need lots of exercise but they get it AND lots of attention from Mom and Dad.... I've tried EVERYTHING.... Good luck!

BE PATIENT, TESSA WILL CHANGE
by: ERIC

I experienced the same situation at home with my 2 years old boxer Lucas. I exercised him a lot following advices of others but no change. You just need to wait until Tessa gets 18 months old then she will change suddenly. Now Lucas is behaving good in my garden except when there is a new plant. As soon as we have a new plant he may get a try. My advice: be patient just keep dangerous materials out of her reach and wait until she is 18 months, then you can recover your garden again

she is beautiful
by: Anonymous

We have 5 boxers, 2 male and 3 female. Best recomendation my roommate can give is to never leave Tessa alone in the yard, to kennel her instead. They are a breed that bore VERY easily and need almost constant attention. Possibly you could get her a companion and LOT'S OF TOYS !!!! LOL ! Good luck!

behavior
by: Anonymous

Hello,

I also have a boxer dog, but since she is every day exericed, we don't have any problem with her behavior, maybe that is the solution? Boxers like to take walks and run with other dogs.

adorable
by: laurie Jurgens

She is a doll! You can see the mischievousness in her face :-)
We have a plant nursery and our girl loves to race around and thru all the plants. I haven't figured out how to stop her yet. She also like to play in the sprinkler. Most boxers don'g like water.
