I'm a good boy...
My first boxer that got me started on the breed. He was a rescue for adoption at Petsmart in Metairie. I was working there at the time and living in an apartment that did not allow dogs over 50lbs. When I walked to the front of the store to see what dogs were there for the day...I saw his face.
Someone was already asking about him. The min. they walked away to look at other dogs, I asked to bring him to our break room. He has NEVER left me since. It was love at first sight.
Someone had left him tied up in a yard and inches from death. No food, no water...just alone. He was to be put down and one person at the Destrahan Animal Hospital asked if they would give her just ONE week to try to save him...I am sooo grateful for that one week. He is the BEST!!! We couldn't ask for a better dog! Very well rounded and easy going...
