Are two boxers better than one ?

Hi, hope someone can help me with this...
We got Alfie as a puppy from a litter of six, one of his brothers went to a new home in the same town. Alfie is now two years old and we have recently found out that his brother is up for rehoming as his owner is not well. We were thinking of adopting his brother and bringing the two together. Is this a good idea and do boxers get on better with a companion ?
Many thanks in advance

Answer:

It is possible for two male boxers to get along fine. Make sure you have both of them neutered though, that goes a long way toward them getting along.

Having 2 boxers at the same time NEW
by: Anonymous

I would highly suggest having 2 boxers. I've had 2 males starting from the same litter and then when sadly losing one of them got another male. They were always neutered and got along great. I have other relatives that also had 2 males (from same litter) and they were great as well.

two boxers

We recently lost our 10 year old and will soon be ready for another. We will be getting a puppy from a breeder but have decided to get 2. Originally we thought about 2 male puppies but the more we read and think about it, we may get a male and female from the same litter. Anyone have experience or thoughts on this?
